Update: 5 Things On The 5th (November 2019)

This November was actually really busy! Not only did I go through all that life recovery:

  1. I flat out did National Novel Writing Month. And I somehow made it through!
  2. In conjunction with NaNoWriMo, I went to our region's special event, the "Evening of Writing Uncontrollably." We literally had to drive out to the middle of nowhere to find this gorgeous old library that looked like something out of a Victorian painting. (They hold a lot of Harry Potter fan events.) I got to tour around, get some writing in, hang out with friends, rock a penguin kigurumi, and listen to one of my friends give a great talk about NaNo. It was 120% what I needed to progress forward.
  3. Before I went to the EWU Mikkun and I went to the grand opening of the Round 1 near us. We got T-shirts AND a picture with Santa.
  4. I threw a party for The Game, and it ended up being super chill and everyone just petting my cat. Love my cat. Did I mention I have a cat now?
  5. I finally, finally, FINALLY got back to New York City. I'm sure there will be a post about this sometime, but for now, I'm leaving it at that.
Tonight I am relaxing and possibly writing a bit, and then sleeping. Tomorrow is a new day with new adventures.

Update: 2020's End Of Year Review

2011 + 2012 + 2013 + 2014 + 2015 + 2016 + 2017 + 2018 + 2019  Official End Of Year Review -- 2020 Once upon a time, there were five boys and a star. The boys and the star made a promise. “Even if we go our separate ways, we will meet here again.” 1. What did you do in 2020 that you'd never done before?: I know of someone who felt like he was trapped in an eternal winter, not sure if spring would ever come for him. Well, if he were still alive, he'd probably have an entire weeks' worth of soiled underwear, because it has been March for ten months now. It's part of the reason I stopped posting things that I've done every month, because there was nothing to do. But I adapted surprisingly well. While the rest of the world was dealing with not getting haircuts and being trapped, those of us with mental health issues were able to pull out ALL the resources we use on a daily basis and handle it the bes...

Update: 5 Things On The 5th (August 2018)

Okay, so it's a couple of days late, but I was so stressed out last night that I actually got sick. It's a miracle in itself that I'm still awake. Regardless, here are my 5 things I did in the month of August! What's funny is that you probably know most of these already, because a lot of them happened at Matsuricon. I staffed my first anime convention! It was way less stressful than I thought it would be...despite the fact that my body and mind thought it was, LOL. I sang an Akiba Idol Emily song for the first and last time in front of a crowd! It was completely unexpected, but I'm glad I got to sing at least once before I retire the project for good and put my idol days behind me. (That's a whole 'nother story, but I got this.) I went to go see Teddyloid in concert at Matsuricon! I don't really go to concerts, and I really don't go to concerts or anything for Japanese acts. I'm too embarrassed to. But this was one exception I really wante...

Update: 2019's End Of Year Review

2011 + 2012 + 2013 + 2014 + 2015 + 2016 + 2017 + 2018  Official End Of Year Review -- 2019 You know it all, you’re my best friend The morning will come again No darkness, no season is eternal 1. What did you do in 2019 that you'd never done before?: I GOT A CAT. I may not shut up about that for a while, and it's not like he's the most snuggly bean in the entire existence, but it's a dream I've literally had for years. I always kind of wished that I would find a cat out there somewhere, and it would pick me, and I would take it home and we'd be the best of friends. It's a little different than that, and I needed some major help with the "finding the cat" part, but it happened on my terms and it couldn't have come at a better time. Love my cat. Hopefully in time he will mellow out instead of just wanting to kitty-play all the time, but I'm gonna enjoy this kitty-play, too. In addition to this: I moved in with my partner, whi...
